Sexual Assault Awareness
This training focuses on defining the problem, laws and rights of a victim, statistical information, dispelling of myths and misconceptions and preventive steps to keeping yourself or someone else safe. This training also provides information about the Sexual Assault Support Services (SASS) program. We discuss the legal system and what to do if you or someone you care about is sexually assaulted.
Bullying and Bystander Tranings
These trainings are geared toward students and staff in elementary, middle and high schools. In this training we discuss what is bullying, and what to do if you are a victim as well as what to do if you are a witness or bystander. We also discuss sexual harassment and discrimination. We touch on the rights of students and emphasize the need to tell an adult. Content of these trainings is altered to meet the age level of the audience.
Male Focused Violence Prevention
We also offer trainings and information on Male focused Violence Prevention. This training focuses on the movement to involve men in this fight to end sexual assault and other forms of violence. We often discuss this in our sexual assault trainings however this information can be offered separately to all male groups or mixed gender audiences.
