In addition to direct service support, Crisis Call Center is committed to help bring awareness and education on a variety of subjects that directly affect our community. Our outreach staff can provide outreach and education in a number of ways: educational trainings, tabling at events, and through the distribution of written resources and materials.
Crisis Call Center offers trainings, free of charge, to schools, non-profits, for-profit organizations, businesses, parent, civic and community groups in Northern Nevada. Currently we offer awareness trainings on Suicide Prevention, Sexual Assault Prevention, Bullying and Violence Prevention.
**Many of these topics focus on prevention and bystander responsibility. The common thread is to recognize signs and reach out for help either for yourself or someone you may be concerned about. All trainings offer resources and information on services and support. Many of these trainings can be combined into a single larger training or into a series of trainings.
Tabling
Crisis Call Center would love to support your conference, health fair, or awareness event. We have many published resources to share with the community that cover our 24-hour Crisis Line services, the Suicide Prevention Lifeline, Nevada 2-1-1, Sexual Assault Support Services, and Outreach services. Let us know about your event and how we can help.
Educational and Outreach Materials
The Crisis Call Center has many pamphlets, cards, and fliers that highlight our
24-hour Crisis Lines, Suicide Prevention Lifeline, SASS services, Outreach Services,
