Events
Every year we have events that create awareness and support for our organization. Here are the events planned for the 2008-2009 fiscal year:

White Ribbon Week
The White Ribbon Campaign is the largest effort in the world of men working to end men's violence against women. Wearing a white ribbon is a personal pledge never to commit, condone, or remain silent about violence against women.  During the week of November 17th- 22nd, Crisis Call Center will be hosting a series of events and partnering with local businesses and UNR to promote this incredible campaign.  The end of the week will be celebrated with a “White Knight Ball” sponsored by the Reno/Tahoe American Marketing Association chapter. Proceeds from the ball will go to Crisis Call Center and Safe Embrace. If your business is interested in participating in this event, please click here for more information.

CHAIR-ity Ball 2009
This will be our second year hosting this FUN event featuring dinner, dancing and chair-related artwork!  This event is becoming our signature event of the year and we would love to have you participate!  Mark your calendars for April 4th, 2009 at the National Automobile Museum.  We are in the planning stages, so if you would like to help by serving on our CHAIR-ity Ball Committee or by creating a chair for auction, please give us a call.  Click here to see some of the chairs from last year’s event.  Sponsorships are currently available; click here for more information. 

Run 4 Life
This gorgeous 5K/10K Run/Walk has been an event Crisis Call Center has hosted for eight years.  The next Run 4 Life is scheduled for Fall 2009. We hope to see you there! Click here to see race results.

Sponsorships
All of our events could not happen without the help and generosity of Individual and Corporate sponsorships.  This is a great way to advertise your business and help out Crisis Call Center.  Sponsors receive special recognition and help our programs by underwriting the costs of these important events.  Events are not only to raise money, but awareness.
